Emmett Stowell

About Me

Emmett Stowell is an actor and musician based in Montpelier, VT. Previous credits include Emmett Forrest in Legally Blonde: The Musical with MASQUE Theatre, William Barfée in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee with Hub Stage, Hamlet/Bottom in Such Stuff as Dreams Are Made On with Dirt Road Theater, Tom Collins in RENT! with Acorn Youth Arts and many more. Emmett has also music directed and wrote original songs for Dirt Road Theater. When not acting, Emmett enjoys playing, touring, and performing traditional music with his band Sap Line and in the duo Fiona and Emmett. Past music performances include the 2024 Sutton Traditional Fiddle Festival and Fête de Mai 2023 in Québec and the 2023 Campfire Festival at Club Passim in Massachusetts.  The band has also played at the Brownington Ceilidh Club, for Burlington City Arts, and as part of the Feast & Field Concert Series.
